Google DeepMind
Forecast Outsourcing
Use Swift’s expert network of forecasters for an outside view of your risks
We recently worked with Google DeepMind who had developed a set of AI capability evaluations and reached out to Swift Centre to forecast how future AI systems might perform on those evaluations, and whether those capabilities would elevate AI's status as a global issue. Swift Centre tasked a team of top forecasters with relevant AI experience to explore these topics directly with the client who had instant access to our forecast platform to read analysis, ask questions and make clarifications in real time. The final forecasts that we produced were integrated into their paper. This paper was published and shared well beyond the client firm, helping firm up their position of influence in this area.
Metrea Aerospace
Joint Forecast Teaming
Work closely with Swift’s team to build a suite of predictions for your business decision making
Metrea Aerospace, had a highly skilled internal team focused on local and global risks to their business in a volatile region. Swift’s forecasters joined with the client side experts to create a temporary ‘superteam’, marrying the internal expertise from the client with broader macro forecasting from Swift. We hosted an online and in-person workshop made up of Swift forecasters and client experts, facilitated by Swift, to explore and estimate risks to the clients business. Swift’s final risk report enabled the client to make plans for this region with greater confidence, as well as benefit from transfer of forecasting skills to the firm.
Open Nuclear Network
Workshops and Facilitation
Bring experts and best forecasting practices together
Our client, Open Nuclear Network convened a conference of highly technical experts in an important geopolitical risk area. Swift’s team hosted and acted as facilitators to help this group develop a series of forecasts to inform the client’s focus over the period following the workshop. We took the group through some principles of forecasting, calibration exercises and forecast software on-boarding before starting the elicitation process, covering much more ground than is possible in traditional pen-and-paper methods. The final estimates informed risk response over the next several years.

Testimonials
“Working with the Swift Centre was an absolute joy. They were responsive, engaged, and positive throughout the whole workshop facilitation process. I was extremely impressed with their ability to absorb complex material quickly and be flexible on the day to help us get exactly the results and conversations we were hoping for. I would 100% recommend the Swift Centre for anyone looking to put together a forecasting workshop!”

“We worked with the team from Swift Centre on a project to forecast risks to one of our biggest revenue drivers. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them: they're professional, responsive and practical, working hard to understand not just the percentage probabilities of key events, but what this would actually mean for our business.
Not only will the output of the process be a very useful adjunct to our future decision making, but the process itself was excellent training to improve our own calibration and forecasting skills. We'll definitely look forward to working with the team again and would recommend them to anyone interested in how world-class forecasting can contribute to their work.”
